The Integrated Optics Modelization Group (GMOI for its acronym in spanish) was created in 2005 by a group of researchers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid with a background in optics and computer simulations with the purpose of provide support to the Non Linear Optics Group.

Its main activity focuses in the developing of software able to modelize the behaviour of the light in nonlinear media.

Some of the research topics are the following:

Nonlinear Beam Propagation Methods

Waveguide Characterization

Photovoltaic effect of nanoparticles

Photovoltaic tweezers

Photovoltaic tweezers
